(Honolulu, Hawaii) Ms. Julie M. Mandanas and Mr. Norman H.Y. Cheng have been elected directors of Starn O’Toole Marcus & Fisher law firm.
Julie M. Mandanas joined Starn O’Toole Marcus & Fisher as “Of Counsel” in 2007. Ms. Mandanas’ practice focuses on Commercial Real Estate and Leasing, Real Estate Finance, Hotels & Resorts and Business Law. Ms. Mandanas represents lenders, borrowers, landlords, tenants, developers, sellers and buyers throughout the country in connection with all aspects of real estate transactions. Ms. Mandanas has extensive experience in representing landlords and tenants in numerous leasing transactions and in representing lenders, borrowers and real estate private equity sources in connection with complex commercial secured and unsecured loans and capital markets transactions.
Ms. Mandanas is a former partner of a Chicago-based national law firm. She is admitted to practice law in Hawaii and Illinois, and is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association and American Bar Association. Ms. Mandanas earned her law degree from University of Illinois, magna cum laude.
Norman H.Y. Cheng joined the law firm as an “Associate” in 2002. Mr. Cheng’s practice focuses on Real Estate, Hotels & Resorts, Business Structure and Operations, Commercial Transactions, Small Business Sales and Acquisitions. He is admitted to practice law in Hawaii and is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association. Mr. Cheng earned his law degree from the William S. Richardson School of Law, and was published twice in the University of Hawaii Law Review. He was also Student Bar Association President, and two-term member of the Client Counseling Moot Court Team.
